FFA

SUPERVISED AGRICULTURAL EXPERIENCES

Because FFA is an experienced based learning organization, the students are encouraged to participate in a supervised agricultural experience. These students work for businesses in the community or own their own small businesses. Some students also use the opportunity to explore various agriculture careers and conduct research as well. The photos above are examples of the SAE visits that I completed during my student teaching experience. These visits include beef production, diversified livestock, diversified crop, agricultural mechanics, food science, swine production, and goat production.

FFA MEETINGS

FFA meetings are a great way for students to get and stay connected in the organization. This student-run organization allows members from all backgrounds to get involved. The photos above are examples of meetings from my student teaching experience. We will meet twice a month. Remember that membership dues are $20 for the entire school year.
